Bomb threat closes Ashland Boyer’s, prompts police response
ASHLAND - Someone phoned in a bomb threat to a local supermarket Monday, prompting a swift police response. Ashland Police Chief Gerard Daley said a Boyer's Food Markets employee received the call just before 5pm Monday of a reported bomb threat. Employees and shoppers were evacuated as Ashland and Butler Township Police responded, Daley said.
