Police officer calls out shoppers parking wrong at Asda, Tesco, Sasinbury's and more

- Partnering with George and Car Media, Sgt Messenger demonstrated the technique in a Tesco car park, emphasizing that pulling forward allows motorists to see everything around them.
- "When you are trying to get out, if you are nosed in and are reversing out into the traffic, then it is very difficult to see vehicles and people," Sgt Messenger said, noting small children are easily missed.
- Shoppers are also being encouraged to report motorists who incorrectly use designated parent and child parking bays, as supermarket car parks are private property.
- The RAC advises that drivers should speak to a store manager rather than confronting others, as "Approaching somebody using a dedicated bay without young passengers could lead to a hostile situation.
