Police Launch Armed Operation Outside Synagogue in Trondheim; One Arrested, Another Sought

On Thursday evening, Norwegian police arrested one person after an armed operation following a high-speed car chase near the Trondheim synagogue, though the exact circumstances remain unclear.

As of now, police have started lifting synagogue security cordons and scaling back security, and officials confirmed there is no immediate threat to the local public, incident commander Karl Smøland said.
