SCRUBGRASS TOWNSHIP, Venango County — A 44-year-old woman was killed and the 52-year-old man suspected of killing her has died by suicide, state police reported Friday.

Law enforcement is investigating an incident in neighboring Venango County in which a man killed a woman and then shot himself. According to State Police, the shooting occurred Thursday in Emlenton on Clintonville Road in Scrubgrass Township.
