A large fire broke out this Thursday morning (June 18, 2026), affecting at least 10 houses in the Paraisópolis community, in the southern zone of São Paulo. The residences are located at Rua do Símbolo, nº 35, in Vila Andrade. According to a statement from the Fire Department, the fire started around 5:30 am. Ten fire trucks were dispatched to respond to the incident. There is still no information about victims or the cause of the fire.
