The search is on for Andrew White III, 21, a Statesboro man accused of murder in the fatal Cinco de Mayo shooting that claimed the life of Gregory Johnson Jr. near Azul on South Main Street. The U.S. Marshals Service is now involved in the hunt for the suspect, who is considered armed and dangerous.

In a release last Friday, Capt. Jared Akins with the Statesboro Police Department said a suspect in a May 5 shooting that left a Statesboro man dead and a woman now recovering from a gunshot was identified, but did not release the name.
