Chandauli Police and SOG have recovered 2 kg 565 grams of gold biscuits from a car, which cost about 3.92 million rupees while checking on NH-19. They were being transported from Bihar to Delhi by hiding them in the secret box of the car. Police have arrested two youths from Maharashtra and Haryana.
Maharashtra Crime News: Chandauli Police and SOG seized foreign gold worth Rs 3.92 crore hidden in the gear box of a car on Navhi Pulia Highway and arrested Sangli resident Zuber Sheikh and his accomplice.
In Chandauli, a joint team of Sadar Kotwali police and SWAT conducted a major operation on the highway after midnight on Tuesday. A consignment of gold being transported from Bihar to Uttar Pradesh was seized near a culvert leading to Navahi. Police searched a luxury car and recovered 2 kg 565 gold from a secret box beneath the gearbox.
