- Two men aged 20 and 21 were arrested on Saturday around noon in Parma for allegedly stealing a flamingo statue from Broadview and Snow Road.
- Police identified the suspects by reviewing video footage showing a white Ford Escape arriving near 2:45 a.m., where two men loaded the statue into the vehicle.
- The vehicle's owner worked with police and explained that their son, who is 20 years old, was permitted to use the car; the stolen flamingo statue was subsequently recovered.
- A similar case in May 2024 involved three men pleading guilty to fifth-degree felony vandalism, receiving 180 days in jail with 170 days suspended, $500 fines, probation, and 500 community service hours.
