Police arrest 11 in the beating death of a right-wing student in France

French police arrested 11 suspects on Tuesday and Wednesday in connection with the killing of 23-year-old far-right activist Quentin Deranque during protests in Lyon, including a parliamentary assistant for the far-left France Intransigence (LFI) party. Deranque was attacked by at least six masked assailants on Saturday, causing fatal brain injuries.
