Pole barn destroyed in overnight fire

A large overnight structure fire destroyed a pole barn in Lewistown early Friday morning. Crews from the Indian Joint Fire District were dispatched to 5545 County Road 61 just after 1 a.m., where they found the barn fully engulfed in flames. Bellefontaine, Huntsville, Lakeview and DeGraff fire departments assisted with the large blaze. The cause of the fire remains unknown, and the Ohio Fire Marshal’s office is investigating.
