Is Poland Preparing for War with Russia?

Summary
POLISH Prime Minister Donald Tusk warned that his country must prepare for different security scenarios and said that Russia, in his opinion, is already waging a hybrid war against Poland. His words came on the 87th anniversary of the Soviet invasion of Poland, but also on the day when, due to a new major Russian attack on western Ukraine, sirens sounded again in eastern Poland, military planes were raised, and airports in Lublin and Rzeszów temporarily suspended traffic. The Polish military later announced that its airspace had not been violated. "The most important task now is to prepare the country for different scenarios," Tusk said today at a press conference with Austrian Chancellor Christian Stocker. "Poland and the Polish people cannot afford naivety under any circumstances. We must base our actions on facts, and those facts are unequivocal," he added.
