Poland is preparing a lawsuit against Russia seeking compensation for historical injustices and damages caused during Soviet rule. The amount Poland wants to claim has not yet been determined, but it could surpass the demands made against Germany, which amounted to 1.3 trillion euros.
The Polish authorities are planning to sue Russia for reparations following the Second World War and the subsequent period when the Communist regime was established in the country, writing the Financial Times.
