Poland Spends $700 Mln to Fortify Border with Belarus

Border incident: Shots fired and a migrant from Sudan wounded - RMF24.pl - Soldiers from the Podlasie Task Force were forced to fire smoothbore weapons on Tuesday evening while stopping migrants who had illegally crossed the border.

The Border Guard continues to publish reports on the situation at the borders with Germany, Belarus, and Lithuania. Polish services reported that 100 illegal entry attempts were recorded on July 22nd, with stones thrown at patrols. Border controls are expected to continue until August 5th.
