US President Donald Trump said Poland was invited to this year's G20 meetings because it is "a wonderful country and a friend of the United States.
On Thursday (April 16), the first meeting of finance ministers and central bankers of the G20 took place in Washington, D.C., with Poland participating as a full member. It was represented by Minister Andrzej Domański and NBP President Adam Glapiński.
US President Donald Trump was asked, which is why the Americans invited Poland to the G20 group.
"We are friends of Poland, and that's why we invited it to the G20," said US President Donald Trump, explaining Poland's replacement of South Africa during Thursday's meeting of G20 finance ministers and central bank governors in Washington.
