The Waldo Theatre is proud to announce its third annual Maine Artist Film Series, spotlighting the award-winning work of celebrated documentary filmmaker Ian Cheney local to Midcoast Maine. This special three-part series will run throughout the summer and early fall, showcasing Cheney’s compelling and thought-provoking films that explore themes ranging from Maine’s working coast to global food culture.

Points North hosts free screening of Ian Cheney’s 'Observer'

Points North Institute will kick off the 21st Camden International Film Festival (CIFF) with a special free community screening for the first time. Observer is a new documentary by Camden-based filmmaker Ian Cheney. The screening will be held on Wednesday, September 10, at 6 p.m., at the Strom Auditorium at Camden Hills Regional High School.
