The Eibar City Council has rejected the motion against the bullfighting presented by the citizens. The motion presented by the EAJ has been approved, to discuss the issue of the bullfighting between the citizens and the parties for the coming years. The Eibar Sokamuturra Ez group has denounced the decision as "part of a strategy to promote bullfighting in the town".
