India’s first hydrogen train: Jind-Sonipat route, speed and passenger details
India’s first hydrogen-powered train is likely to be flagged off by PM Modi from Jind in Haryana on July 17. The train will run on the Jind-Sonipat route, cover around 356 km daily and use hydrogen fuel cells that release water vapour instead of diesel smoke.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's proposed visit to Jind in Haryana on July 17 is being considered historic for the state. During this, the Prime Minister will flag off the country's first hydrogen train on the Jind-Gohana-Sonipat railway section and will also inaugurate various development projects.
