PM Modi to Grace IIT Delhi Convocation, Unveils AI Supercomputer

- Modi will present prestigious honors including the President's Gold Medal and Perfect Ten Gold Medals, and inaugurate Param Pragya, an AI-powered supercomputing facility at the Sonipat Campus.
- Earlier, the Prime Minister marked National Handloom Day by celebrating India's rich textile heritage, reaffirming government support for weavers and artisans as pillars of rural empowerment.
- Inviting citizen participation, Modi encouraged the public to share handloom products and 'Get Ready With Me' videos using #NationalHandloomDay. "Do share your favourite handloom products and GRWM videos using #NationalHandloomDay," he added.
- These initiatives aim to preserve traditional craftsmanship while fulfilling the vision of an Atmanirbhar Bharat, as the government seeks to raise awareness and encourage communities associated with India's traditional textile sector.
