Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković was criticized by part of the Croatian public because he was behind Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić at the military parade in Paris. As expected, the regime media in Serbia wrote about "diplomatic success" and respect for Vučić. Plenković briefly stated that Croatia was "where it should be" at the celebration of the French national holiday.

Plenković added that he believes that members of the special police will "worthily represent our homeland and show the European public the most prepared units of the Croatian Ministry of the Interior" on Tuesday.
