PRIME MINISTER Plenković announced the first law on the protection of the elderly and a further increase in pensions to ensure a safer and more dignified old age.
Plenković considers it particularly important that the lowest average pension has been increased by 141 percent and that it now amounts to 502 euros.
"We will conduct an intensive dialogue to pass such a law, for the Croatian Parliament to adopt it, and to emancipate and improve the overall framework, both normative and institutional, when it comes to care for pensioners and the elderly," said the Prime Minister.
