'Pleaded guilty!': Minnesota daycare owner admits to fraud after viral expose in Nick Shirley video

- Prosecutors allege Mahamud, CEO of Future Leaders Early Learning, took $5.5 million in taxpayer money, including $4.6 million from the Child Care Assistance Program and $850,000 from the Feeding Our Future scheme.
- Mertens collected $400,000 in fraudulent claims across three centers in Ramsey, Rochester, and Kasson; both defendants will face sentencing at a future date.
