Planning process proceeds for Port Elgin affordable housing development

The development process that will end with people living in two 14-unit stacked townhouse buildings at the north end of Port Elgin advanced recently when Saugeen Shores councillors received a Site Plan Control application from development partners – the Town of Saugeen Shores, Habitat for Humanity Grey Bruce and Wilson Developments – for the affordable housing project west of Highway 21 and south of Concession 10.
