A plane belonging to Southwest Airlines, which flew from Burbank, California, to Las Vegas, Nevada, blew a couple of meters to avoid possible collisions in the air with a supersonic aircraft of type Hawker Hunter. Following the emergency manoeuvre, two members of the team were injured.
The United States has almost witnessed another mid-air accident. A plane with around 150 passengers on board narrowly avoided a British military 'fighter', descending 90 meters in just 36 seconds. "People were screaming, there was chaos. They thought we were going to crash," one of the passengers described the events on board.
