MESA, Arizona – A plane suffered a mechanical problem in mid-flight, and the pilot was forced to land on Mesa’s Main Street. The landing was by the Gilbert Road crossing, through the canal area. There were no injuries among the aircraft’s occupants or among the people on the ground, Telemundo Arizona confirmed. The plane landed safely and without damage.
