PKK terrorist organization member Helin Ümit said in an interview with the organization’s European publication “European Democrat”, “What was aimed for at the beginning of the Republic’s history? A solid Turkish nationhood was aimed for. It failed. Today they accept it. Now they say let’s re-establish the second century of Turkey. We agree. The discourse of ‘Turkey without terror’ needs to change.”
