The Regional Health Directorate (Diresa) initiated a five-day workshop course for 70 health inspectors from La Union, La Arena and Secura, in order to strengthen their work in order to engage citizens in dengue prevention. During the first day of training, participants strengthened their skills in emotional control, assertive communication and community-based approach strategies, essential tools for building confidence during home visits.
