The Pittsburgh Pirates have recalled right-handed pitcher Mike Burrows from Triple-A Indianapolis to replaced Carmen Mlodzinski in the starting rotation. Mlodzinski is getting sent down. Burrows, who will start for the Pirates on Thursday night against the Brewers, made eight appearances/seven starts with Indianapolis on the season prior to getting recalled.
