Deputy Prime Minister and Transport Minister Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn has ordered a study into the relocation of Bangkok Port cargo operations to Laem Chabang Port.
"Pipat" emphatically announces the closure of Bangkok Port and the relocation of all operations to Laem Chabang Port. This aims to centralize management, reduce costs, and increase logistics efficiency before utilizing the 2,353 rai of land.
Pipat proposes a plan to reduce the role of Bangkok Port, focusing on developing new areas free from casinos and promoting Laem Chabang as the main hub.
