A tragedy was averted on a Flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv on Wednesday after the co-pilot attacked Captain Smit Machar and tried to crash the plane. Passengers and crew members managed to get into the cockpit and defeat the attacker. There were 174 passengers on the plane, mostly Israelis, including 27 children.
