Poway’s new Fire Chief Brian Mitchell will be highlighting fire safety at the annual Picnic with the Chief and Wildfire Preparedness event. The free event hosted by the city is set for 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 16 at the Mickey Cafagna Community Center – Oak Hall, 13094 Civic Center Drive.
