Pianofest opened its 38th season with a reception at the Southampton Inn. Founded by pianist and educator Paul Schenly, the event brings international emerging pianists to the East End for a summer of study and public performances. Guests gathered to celebrate the start of the five-week residency and meet this year’s class of musicians.
