"People ask me how physicists explain the soul. I say: very easily – it is an empty set. It does not exist," says particle physicist Dr. Gediminas Šarpis. However, the scientist admits that with consciousness everything is much more complicated, because all people have a subjective experience of their existence, which cannot be denied.
