The Patriarchal Cathedral of the Capital becomes in these days a pole of Orthodox spirituality, hosting a series of special liturgical events. Believers are expected Sunday and Monday to participate in the special jobs organized on the occasion of the celebrations marking the bringing of the monks of Saint Cuvios Dimitrie the New, the spiritual protector of Bucharest.
