An ongoing police investigation is taking place in Central Wimbledon, keeping a major road closed.

A219 The Broadway is blocked in both directions due to police cordoning off the area from Gladstone Road to Stanley Road. There is no official word of what happened yet, but witnesses described seeing a man receiving treatment on the floor at around 1am. We have contacted the Met for a statement.
