Since 7 July, a team from the National Institute for Preventive Archaeological Research has searched the building site of the new Louvière. They have discovered the remains of an island of dwellings dating from the 16th century and elements of daily life. Until 8 August, they will continue to explore the basement of the Crousse parking lot in order to uncover this former forgotten area of the city.
