At chance of maintenance work, a passive defence shelter was rediscovered last week, on the edge of the Champbeauvert school.Dating a priori from the beginning of the Second World War, it was used to protect schoolchildren from bombardment. Remained intact since the end of the war, it had been plugged at both ends. But one of the concrete slabs gave way, allowing this testimony of a past era to reappear.
