MANILA, Philippines — The country's labor market improved in April, the Philippine Statistics Authority reported on Tuesday.Unemployment declined to 4.7 percent in April 2026, lower than the 5.0 percent in March but higher than the 4.1 percent in April 2025.This translates to 2.41 million unemployed Filipinos, a decrease from the 2.58 million in the previous month, but a rise from the 2.06 million in the same month last year.
