BOARDMAN – Portland General Electric has been fined $260,700 by the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality for air quality violations at the Carty Plant near Boardman. According to a mutual agreement and final order from the DEQ, PGE exceeded its permitted emission levels due to improper calculation tracking and then failed to report those excess emissions in a timely manner.
