PGA Championship ’26: A Hole-by-Hole Look at Aronimink
Organizers say the 2026 PGA Championship could generate more than $125 million in economic impact as long hitters target reachable par 5s.
The 108th PGA Championship begins Thursday, May 14, at Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Delaware County, with organizers projecting more than $125 million in economic impact.
Road closures and parking restrictions take effect daily starting today, May 11, through Sunday, May 17, requiring attendees to use pre-paid lots or the SEPTA Paoli/Thorndale Regional Rail Line.
Local restaurants are increasing staff and inventory to accommodate visitors, with Matt D'Ottaviano of La Scala's Fire saying, "We're just putting on a bunch more staff and ordering a ton more food."
Residents near Aronimink face traffic challenges but remain optimistic, with Connor Goggin, who lives across the street, stating, "Parking is going to be an issue, but we are excited about it."
Competitors face a Donald Ross–designed course where Aronimink features challenging terrain, including a dozen bunkers on the 12th hole and a 10th green nearly joining the 8th.
