The president of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, considers that the peace negotiations with the National Liberation Army (ELN) are broken by the constant violent actions of that guerrilla in the region of Catatumbo and in other border places with Venezuela. “You, by systematically attacking civilians with blood and fire in Catatumbo, broke the peace talks with my government,” Petro said Thursday in a message on his X account.
