"It is possible to argue without questioning the other person's Hungarianness. That we do not call any Hungarian an insect," the prime minister said in his speech.
The commemoration on October 6 was attended by President of the Republic András Baka, Speaker of the House Ágnes Forsthoffer, and several members of the government.
The central state commemoration was held in Gyula on the day of remembrance of the martyrs of Arad. Prime Minister Péter Magyar gave a ceremonial speech.
Power is not property, the office of prime minister is not a reward, the mandate is not a privilege, but a service and it is temporary - the prime minister emphasized at the commemoration held on the Day of the Martyrs in Arad.
"It is possible to see the world differently while standing under the same flag, for example today, October 6," the Prime Minister said.
