Explosion at Peshawar CTD Caused by Stored Explosives
Old explosives stored in the armoury caused the blast, killing one officer and injuring two, with the building partially collapsing, authorities said.

- Bomb Disposal Unit, Rescue 1122 and fire brigade teams launched operations to clear the site and extinguish the fire while police cordoned off the area and BDU and CTD teams assisted in collecting debris.
- KP IGP Zulfikar Ahmed ordered the Additional IGP CTD to submit a detailed report within five days, and a clearance operation is underway at the station, police confirmed.
- Police are reviewing nearby CCTV footage and collecting forensic evidence as a special investigation unit led by SSP CTD records statements from police personnel inside the station.
