Peruvian Ministry of the Interior Transfers $2.35 Million to the United States to Maintain Nine Black Hawk Helicopters

The Ministry of the Interior of Peru has authorized a transfer of eight million soles — about $2.35 million — to the United States Government, through the United States Embassy in Peru, to cover part of the maintenance and operational support of the UH-60A Black Hawk helicopters transferred to the Police Aviation Directorate (Diravpol) of the Peruvian National Police for their exclusive use in anti-trafficking missions.
