PERRYSBURG, Ohio — A middle school teacher has been placed on leave and now is facing a criminal charge after he followed a student home, reportedly to check on whether the student had completed a homework assignment.William Hilt, 54, pleaded not guilty Tuesday in Perrysburg Municipal Court to a charge of criminal trespassing, a fourth-degree misdemeanor, court records show. He was released after posting 10% of a $2,500 bond.
