Perrysburg Sculpture Walk to open with free Labor Day celebration – BG Independent News

From CITY OF PERRYSBURG The sixth annual Perrysburg Sculpture Walk will officially launch on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 7, with a community opening celebration at Woodlands Park, 429 E. Boundary St. The 2026-27 exhibit features 13 newly installed sculptures by nationally and internationally recognized, award-winning artists. The opening celebration will feature live music from Hepcat Revival, a children’s sculpture-making station, an artist award presentation, and a curator-led tour featuring stories and behind-the-scenes details about the new sculptures and the artists who created them. Schedule of events: 3:30 p.m. – Children’s sculpture-making station 4 p.m. – Hepcat Revival 5 p.m. – Artist award presentation 6 p.m. – Curator-led tour of the new exhibit The 2026-27 exhibit showcases works in an array of media, including cast glass, hand-carved wood, fiberglass, and steel, including hand-painted steel. The artwork is for all ages.
