People living near Welland, Ont. landfill asked to keep windows closed as crews put out bush fire

The fire is located at the Humberstone Landfill. Niagara police said in a social media post earlier today businesses along Humberstone Road and Townline Tunnel Road from Feeder to Canal Banks roads should close windows and avoid using their air conditioners “due to smoky conditions.”
