Service commemorates anniversary of Battle of Britain

A town has held its annual wreath-laying service, commemorating the 86th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.

People across Hillingdon are being invited to step back in time and experience a unique day of history to commemorate the 86th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.

The special event, Battle of Britain 86: The 15 Nations, will take place at the Battle of Britain Bunker Exhibition and Visitor Centre in Uxbridge on Saturday.
