As of July 2, PRH said the majority of its systems and services are back online, with the remainder “expected to be operational” early next week. Staff are also working to enter all paper-based data from the manual contingency processes for services last week into the hospital systems, it said.

Pembroke hospital confirms no patient data was compromised

In the wake of a cybersecurity incident, patient information and hospital data remain secure according to the Pembroke Regional Hospital.   A press release issued on July 2 by the hospital stated that its own investigation which was support by third-party cybersecurity experts is nearing completion and that, “no evidence has been uncovered to date to demonstrate that any hospital or patient data was accessed or otherwise compromised.”   The rele…
