PELARCO, SPAIN, JUL 17 – The festival draws 20,000 attendees to honor the Virgin of Carmen with maritime processions, concerts, and cultural events celebrating sailors and fishermen's heritage.
- On July 16, Pelarco hosted the Fiesta De La Virgen Del Carmen, drawing 20,000 attendees and featuring maritime processions.
- Every July 16, coastal communities honor the Virgin of Carmen, the celebration began in Estepona in 1962 and Alfonso Ramírez has worked to include all residents.
