Can the work of an artist suspected of rape on minors be exhibited in a museum dedicated to Arthur Rimbaud whose work and life bear witness to sexual violence suffered in childhood? The answer is no, for the child psychiatrists Maurice Corcos and Gérard Pirlot as well as the senior official Juliette Meadel.
In a gallery published by Libération, two child psychiatrists and a former minister call Charleville-Mézières to withdraw from the Rimbaud museum a work by Claude Lévêque, sent back in early September to the criminal court for sexual assault and rape of minors.
